Mason Dixon Fair Events and Show Schedule

All Shows will start with Showmanship and follow with animal classes 

Friday, July 5:

Livestock Set up (Times to be announced)


Saturday, July 6:

Livestock Set Up (Times to be announced)

9:00 AM- Draft Horse and Mule Show


Sunday, July 7:

12:00 PM till 8:00 PM- Meat Goat and Beef/ Dairy Steers Move In

4:30 PM- 5:30 PM- Scales Open for Weigh In

5:30 PM Meat Goat Fitting Clinic

8:00 PM- ALL Meat Goats Must Be In Place


Monday, July 8: MEAT GOAT DAY

8:00 AM till 2:00 PM- Beef/ Dairy Steers Can Continue To Move In

9:00 AM- 10:30AM Scales Open for Weigh In- ALL MARKET GOATS MUST BE COMPLETE AT THIS TIME

2:00 PM- Beef/ Dairy Steers Must Be In Place

2:30 PM- Beef/ Dairy Steer Weigh In

4:00 PM- Meat Goat Show

8:30 PM- Meat Goats Released (ALL BEDDING MUST BE REMOVED FROM PENS AND CHECKED BY THE SUPERINTENDENT)


Tuesday, July 9: BEEF CATTLE DAY

8:00 AM till 12:00 PM- Sheep Move In

9:30 AM till 12:00 PM- Drop In Livestock Skillathon

12:00 PM- Sheep Must Be In Place

12:30 PM- Sheep Weigh In

2:00 PM Dairy Steer Show

4:00 PM OR 20 Minutes After Completion Of The Dairy Steer Show- Beef Show


Wednesday, July 10: SHEEP DAY

9:00 AM- Livestock Judging Registration, Contest To Start At 9:30 AM

4:00 PM- Sheep Show (Note: Market and Breeding Shows Will Be Combined This Year)

8:30 PM- Beef/ Dairy Steers Released (ALL BEDDING MUST BE PULLED 3 FEET FROM GATE AND BE CHECKED BY SUPERINTENDENT)


Thursday, July 11: SWINE DAY

9:00 AM- 2:00 PM- Swine and Dairy Cattle Move In (Swine cannot come off trailers without Vet papers and RFID) 

2:00 PM- Swine and Dairy Cattle Must Be In Place

5:30 PM- Swine Show

8:30 PM- Sheep Released (ALL BEDDING MUST BE REMOVED FROM PENS AND CHECKED BY THE SUPERINTENDENT)


Friday, July 12: DAIRY DAY

9:30 AM- 12:00 PM Drop In Dairy Skillathon

9:00 AM- 2:00 PM Dairy Goats Arrive

2:00 PM Dairy Goats Must Be In Place

3:00 PM Dairy Goats Must Be Registered

4:00 PM- Dairy Goats Must Be On Grounds (Pens Will Be Available This Year)

6:00 PM- Dairy Goat Show

8:30 PM- Swine and Dairy Goats Released


Saturday, July 13: 4-H DAY

9:00 AM- Dairy Cattle Show 

4:00 PM- 9:00 PM Livestock Petting Zoo and 4-H Night

8:00 PM- Dairy Cattle Released


Sunday, July 14:

Livestock Tear Down (Times To Be Announced)
