Tractor Pull classes & Rules

Please review the technical requirements below before arrival.

Tractor Classes
Antique Stock

3.5 MPH LIMIT

Weight Classes (allowed up to 100 lbs. over):

2500, 3000, 3500, 4000, 4500, 5000, 5500, 6000, 6500ST. 6500BT, 7500, 8500, 9500, 10500, 12000

Note: 6500 Antique Stock will have a small tire division (15.5 and smaller) and a big tire division (over 15.5)

1. Tractors must be 1959 and older to participate, unless the same model continues into the later years.

2. Tractors must have original motor OR factory equivalent motor.

3. All governors must be set to factory or less than 20% over specs.

4. 15.5X38 max tire size 2500-6500 Small Tire Class. 18.4X38 max tire size 6500 Big Tire Class – 12,000
5. No cut or altered tires. Pulling committee has final say if tires are cut or not
6. Wheelie bars are encouraged

Antique Enhanced

6 MPH limit

Weight classes (allowed up to 100 lbs. over)

3500, 4000, 4500, 5000, 5500, 6500, 7500

1. Tractors must be 1959 and older to participate, unless the same model continues into the later years

2. Tractors must have original motor OR factory equivalent motor

3. Any cut/size tire allowed

4. Wheelie bars are MANDATORY!

5. Turbo chargers are permitted

Classic

6 MPH limit
Weight classes (allowed up to 100 lbs. over)
9000, 10000, 11000, 12000, 13000, 15000
1. Tractors manufactured from 1960- 1985, unless the same model continues into the later years
2. Tractors must have original motor OR factory equivalent motor
3. No cut tires allowed! 20.8X42 Max Tire size
4. Wheelie bars are encouraged
5. Turbo chargers are permitted

PULLING RULES

1. Hook fee is $15.00
2. 3 hooks per tractor, depending on hook numbers registration can be open to more
3. No consumption of alcoholic beverages on the premises before, during, or after the event!
4. Operators less than 16 years of age-
a. Must have parental/ guardian consent and parent/guardian must be present to walk alongside the tractor during the pull
b. Operator must be able to reach brake/clutch pedals, be comfortable operating the tractor and in full control at all times
5. 4 Wheel Drive cannot be used during the pull
6. First puller in each weight class has the option to accept the first pull distance or come back immediately to lineup and pull again. If pulling for a 2nd time, the 2nd pull distance stands and 1st pull distance is forfeit, in that weight class
7. A single driver can only pull the same tractor once per type/weight class. If a tractor is pulled more than once in the same type/weight class, with a different driver, only one of the drivers’ distances will be counted towards the final standings- which drivers’ distance to be counted will be determined at signup.
8. Drawbar height needs to be 20” maximum and drawbar length needs to be 18” minimum behind the center line of the rear axle. HITCH POINT ON TRACTOR MUST BE PARALLEL TO THE GROUND!
9. Operator must keep hands visible to the sled operator, and tractor in neutral while being hooked up
10. Operator must remain seated during their entire pull
11. Tractors will be disqualified on the 3rd horn blow. If disqualified tractor MUST STOP IMMEDIATELY!
12. Tractor wheel stand will be at flagman’s discretion
13. All weights must be secure - Anything falling off of a tractor during the pull will result in a disqualification
14. Tractors are subject to inspection, post-pull
15. All operators are responsible for reviewing and complying with the rules
