General Rules:
1. Farm tractor models in production prior to and including 1960 are eligible for the Antique classes
2. Farm tractor models in production prior to 1985 are eligible for the Classic classes
3. All vehicles must be operated in a safe manner at all times
4. No passengers in/on pulling vehicles
5. All operators must remain seated during the pull and must have complete control of the vehicle at all times. Any operators demonstrating questionable driving skills will be challenged and track officials may refuse to hook
6. No hole digging or jerking of the sled
7. All operators must wear shirt and closed-toe shoes.
8. Contest is open to vehicles with rubber tires only. The following tire/wheel configurations are NOT acceptable: 4-wheel drive, duals, tire studs, chains, steel treads, or iron treads
9. All tractors must have functional rear wheel brakes
10. All engine fans and clutches must be shrouded with factory equivalent steel and all hood components in place
11. Factory fuel injection only. No multiple carbs, no turbo chargers unless factory installed
12. T-A’s will be allowed and also differential locks if they were manufactured for said tractor at time of production.
13. All pull vehicles will be open to inspection by track officials. If there is a question of eligibility of the vehicle, the burden of proof is the responsibility of the owner/operator and must be proven by factory documentation.
14. Hook fee and hook limit will be at the discretion of the pull committee day of pull
Registration:
1. Registration will take place downstairs in the tower by track.
2. All entry forms must be completed and signed. Any operators under the age of 18 will require the signature of a guardian.
Tractor Requirements:
1. Wheelie bars are recommended but optional in all 3.5mph slow classes. Wheelie bars are required for all 6mph classes.
2. Kill Switches are not required but recommended for 6mph classes.
3. All weights should be secured and in the proper position. Weight bolts may not exceed 2” past the weights or tires, whichever is wider. Rear weights MUST NOT extend beyond the rear tires and must be in front of the wheelie bar bumpers. Front weights should not exceed 11 feet forward from the centerline of rear axle.
4. For all weight classes, each tractor is allowed no more then 100 lbs. over the weight for that class. If there is any concern regarding tractors weight, the top 3 in that class will be re-weighed
5. The first tractor in each class has the choice of a second hook/pull. If the operators want to attempt a second pull, they must accept the measurement of the second pull. Pullers must notify track officials before leaving the track after their first pull if they are coming back for a rehook.
6. If any parts or weights fall off the tractor during the pull, that entry will be disqualified.
7. Maximum speed at the pull is 3.5mph for Antique Slow Classes, 6mph for Antique Fast Classes, and 6mph for Classic Classes. A horn alarm is used to signal speed violations. specific rules regarding disqualification due to speed will be announced at drivers meeting prior to the beginning of the pull.
Drawbar Requirements:
1. Minimum drawbar length is 18” from the center of rear axle to point of hook measured horizontally
2. Maximum height of 20”
3. The drawbar must be rigid in all directions and stationary in all directions

Mason Dixon Dirt Drags - Dirt Demon 4x4 Dirt Drags
New for 2025, we are introducing the Dirt Demon Series at Mason Dixon. This is a 4 event dirt drag points series. Each event will be a Winner Take All Style (WTA) with 2 classes. One modified class open to all gas & diesel powered AWD/4x4 vehicles and a work stock class open to all diesel AWD/4x4 vehicles.
Class Rules:
Work Stock:
-Diesel powered awd/4X4 vehicles
-Stock, stock appearing(drop ins) & S300 turbo chargers
-Absolutely no injectables
-Must be tagged & insured
Modified:
-Open to all Gas & Diesel powered awd/4X4 vehicles
-Upward facing exhaust required on all diesels
-Must be tagged & insured
-Vehicles running turbos must have 2 3/8” Grade 8 bolts crossed within 1” of each other and as close to turbine housing as possible.
-Injectables are allowed but must wear SFI approved fire suit
General Rules:
-No Pitt vehicles(dirt bikes, golf carts, side by sides, etc)
-Must wear helmet
-Must have DOT approved tires
-No hot rodding in the pits
-Pro tree
-No reruns. You red light, you lose.
-Every class gets 1 test pass.
-7 second staging rule.(You have 7 seconds to get staged after other driver is fully staged. If you double bulb someone immediately, this rule is no longer enforced)
-If you over power the track and cross center line, you will be disqualified
-Officials have final say. If your truck or actions are deemed unsafe, you will be disqualified.
Registration:
Once parked in your classes marked section, walk to the registration booth next to the track by the bleachers. Once paid and registered, you will receive a tech card and a number(Numbers for each class will be numerical as you sign up) Take your card and stand next to your vehicle with hood popped. Please do not leave your vehicle until it has been teched. If you pass, the tech inspector will write your number on the windshield and collect your tech card. Once done, please close your hood so we know your vehicle has passed and is ready to race. Drivers meeting will be at the race tree on the track.
Racer Bracket:
Once registration has closed, all numbers will go into a random drawing for a bracket for each class. Once the bracket has been made, we will put it on a board at beginning of track for all racers to see. Lane choice will be chosen by coin toss. Racers are only allowed 1 bye if given.
